Seva comes from the Sanskrit words saha, meaning “with that,” and eva, meaning “too.” Thus, seva means “together with”. ‘Seva’ can best be translated in English as ‘Service’.
Seva and Sadhana are important aspects of spirituality. Sadhana leads to inner growth of a Sadhak, whereas Seva to the outer prosperity.
Any Sadhak i. e. a spiritual seeker on any kind of spiritual path i.e Sadhana, looks at seva as privilege and considers it as an an opportunity to serve.
Aakar foundation is a charitable trust concieved by a group of enthusiastic spiritual seekers i.e. Sadhaks. When such beautiful souls come together in love, inclusion and playfulness, it’s only natural for them to create opportunities to be in Seva. Thus, Aakar foundation initiates various projects to support social causes and invites people to join them or supports others such projects happening in the society.
The driving force behind it all is our firm belief that ‘Duniya Haseen Hai ‘ meaning ‘ It’s a wonderful world’ and we all are the creators of this wonderful world.
